Students need not cling to the first solution. Interviews may change the problem and testing may overturn the product. What remains is the reason for beginning, care for people and responsibility for the work.

Struggling in a subject does not mean a student cannot ask an important question, understand real people, organize complexity or persist to completion. We make room for those unseen abilities.
THE MENTOR'S PLACE
Mentors provide maps, boundaries and feedback—not the destination.
Students make mistakes within safe boundaries and explain their choices. Mentors often ask: ‘Is what AI gave you still what you truly wanted?’ Scaffolding appears when a student cannot move forward alone.
